Body found floating in sea off Isle of Wight

The body of a man has been found floating in the sea off the east coast of the Isle of Wight.

The man, thought to be in his 20s or 30s, was found by a fisherman off Whitecliff Bay, near Bembridge, on Saturday afternoon.

Police said they had identified the man but would not be releasing any details while his next of kin were still being informed.

Detectives are asking anyone with information to contact them.
