Antiques dealer accused over fake Churchill signatures

An antiques dealer from Hampshire accused of selling fake Winston Churchill and J.R.R Tolkien signatures has appeared in court.

Allan Formhals is charged with 16 counts related to owning and selling books and memorabilia.

Mr Formhals, from Milford on Sea, Lymington, appeared before Southampton Magistrates' Court.

The 65-year-old was bailed to appear at Southampton Crown Court on 21 February.
