Portsmouth house partially collapses after explosion and fire

A house has been severely damaged in a suspected gas explosion, causing a fire which spread to neighbouring properties.
Six fire crews were called to Whale Island Way in Portsmouth shortly after 12:00 GMT.
The mid-terrace home has partially collapsed, Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service said.
No-one is reported to have been seriously injured and nearby properties were evacuated, the service added.
