- Published
Train travellers are facing disruption after a freight train derailed in the early hours.
Network Rail Wessex said the low speed derailment happened as it was being manoeuvred at Eastleigh.
South Western Railway (SWR) services between Fareham and Eastleigh in both directions are being diverted via Southampton Central.
The train firm said no-one was injured. Disruption is expected throughout Tuesday.
Replacement buses are also running between Fareham and Eastleigh in both directions.

Mark Killick, Network Rail's route director for Wessex, said: "The train derailed on a set of points which are designed to stop a train if it passes a red signal.
"We're currently working on a plan to get the train back onto the rails, so it can be moved away safely.
"We're sorry for the disruption passengers are experiencing."
On Monday 7 March a freight train also derailed at low speed at Eastleigh. Passenger services were not affected and no-one was injured.
Rail commuters faced delays and cancellations after a freight train came off the track as it left Eastleigh - blocking the line between Southampton Central and Basingstoke on 28 January 2020.
It was almost a month before rail services fully resumed.
Following the derailment in 2020 the Rail Accident Investigation Branch (RAIB) said it had found broken "rail fastenings" at the scene.
