The family of a boy, who died after the motorbike he was on collided with a car, has said he was "one of a kind".
Layton Cashmore from Hedge End was a pillion passenger on the motorbike involved in the crash on Hill Lane, Southampton on Monday evening.
The 14-year-old sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital where he has since died, Hampshire police said.
Three boys from Southampton, all 16, were arrested following the crash.
They have been released while enquiries continue, police said.
In a statement released through Hampshire Constabulary, Layton's family said: "As a family we cannot put into words how much this hurts.
"Layton truly is one of a kind, with the biggest heart, he left a mark on anyone who had the privilege to meet him.
"As a family we will never be the same."
Police have appealed for anyone who may have seen the collision or who may have footage to get in touch.
