Water leak causes flood at Mercury Point student block in Southampton

Parts of a student accommodation block has been flooded following a water leak.

More than 250 students were moved out of the Mercury Point block, owned by Unite Students, near Southampton City Centre following the flood on Saturday.

Unite Students said all students have been offered temporary alternative accommodation in hotels.
