SWR said train services running through Portchester are facing disruption
The death of a man on a railway track is being investigated by British Transport Police (BTP).
Officers were called to Portchester Railway Station, near Fareham, shortly after 05:00 BST. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
BTP said its officers were on site and investigations were ongoing "to establish the full circumstances".
Train services between Portsmouth Harbour and Southampton Central face disruption.
South Western Railway said the lines between Cosham and Fareham had been reopened, however trains between the two stations could still be cancelled, delayed or revised.
