Isle of Wight and Southampton high-speed ferry off due to staff shortages
- Published
Fast crossings between Southampton and the Isle of Wight have been suspended due to staff shortages.
Ferry operator Red Funnel said "due to limited availability of crew, we have unfortunately found it necessary to suspend our Hi-Speed service".
The last Red Jets on Friday were at 16:10 GMT from Southampton and 16:45 from West Cowes.
The vehicle ferry crossings between Southampton and East Cowes, which take an hour, are still continuing.
