Man charged with murdering Samantha Holden in Farnborough

A 37-year-old man has been charged with murdering a woman in a Hampshire town.

Police received reports of a sudden death at a property on Church Road West in Farnborough on 9 September 2022.

Officers found the body of Samantha Holden, 56. Her family described her as a "kind and beautiful soul".

Adam Watson, of Kent, but previously from Farnborough, was charged on Thursday with her murder and remains in custody.

He is due to appear at Basingstoke Magistrates' Court on 21 March.

Paying tribute to Ms Holden, her family described her as a "kind and beautiful soul who will be forever loved".
