Basingstoke Station was closed and trains halted after a package was found at the station
A security alert has led to delays for rail travellers through Basingstoke.
The station was closed and trains stopped after a package was found at the station shortly after 08:15 BST.
British Transport Police (BTP) said its specialist officers had since declared the item at the station to be non-suspicious.
South Western Railway (SWR) said trains running through the station may be cancelled, delayed or revised, with disruption expected until 16:00.
The train firm said passengers affected could use their tickets on other services including GWR, CrossCountry and Southern.
