Historic Bromsgrove church gate vandalised

A gate dating back to the 1650s at a Worcestershire church has been vandalised, a vicar said.
The lychgate at St John the Baptist church in Bromsgrove was vandalised over the Bank Holiday weekend, Reverend Chris Wingfield said.
Mr Wingfield said: "I think the sadness is that being destructive towards this architecturally historical site, I think, just damages the face of Bromsgrove, not just the church itself."
The church hopes to repair the gate.
