Ex-Worcester MP given charity role

Former Worcester Labour MP Mike Foster has been appointed as a charity's head of communications.

The former international development minister will take up his position at WaterAid on Monday.

WaterAid is aiming to bring safe water and sanitation to 25 million people worldwide within five years.

Mr Foster was defeated in May's general election by Conservative candidate Robin Walker. Mr Foster received 16,376 votes and Mr Walker won 19,358.
