Herefordshire solar panel farm gets permission
- Published
Planning permission has been granted for a solar panel farm in Herefordshire.
Up to 27 rows of panels will be put in a field at Prothither Farm, near Hoarwithy.
Herefordshire Council said the application had the backing of the parish council.
A council spokesman said they were not expecting any more similar applications due to location and changes to government subsidies.
Herefordshire is almost on the northern edge of viability for solar panel farms, the spokesman said, due to the level of sunlight in the county.
