Wyre Forest authority to decide on Gypsy site consultation

Fifteen potential new sites for Gypsies and travellers in Worcestershire are to be shortlisted and put forward for public consultation.
Members of Wyre Forest District Council meet on Tuesday night to agree which sites from the 15 will be included.
More than 350 people turned up at a meeting held by the council on Monday night to discuss the plans.
Some people want all 15 sites included in the consultation but the authority says that is not necessary.
Councillor Julian Phillips said: "Between those 15 sites there are 145 potential pitches.
"We only need 43 pitches in the next 11 years and we only need 28 in the next six years so not all the sites will be preferenced."
Mr Phillips said that other sites outside of the 15 may come forward as part of the consultation process.
