Worcestershire fish rescue after floods recede

A rescue mission is underway after hundreds of fish which were left stranded by receding floodwaters
Hundreds of fish, some up to 30 years old, have been trapped on a flood plain in Worcestershire the Environment Agency has said.
The fish, including bream and carp, are in floodwater on the Ham Meadows near Upton upon Severn.
The agency's Dave Throup said: "The water level has dropped very quickly and it's left them stranded against either fences or barbed wire."
A tanker will be used to take the fish back to the River Severn.
The agency said the rescue may take "some time" as it still has 10 acres (4 hectares) of floodwater to search.
Mr Throup said: "Some of the bream are up to 30 years old and they are important to the eco-system of the river."
