All wards at two Worcestershire hospitals have been closed to visitors because of norovirus.
The Alexandra Hospital in Redditch and Worcestershire Royal Hospital are affected by the illness, which broke out over the weekend.
Also known as winter vomiting bug, norovirus is extremely infectious.
The Worcestershire Acute Hospitals Trust said only "essential" visiting was being allowed and visitors should contact the ward in advance.
