Some 185 sheep were rescued after flooding at a farm in Herefordshire.

Firefighters were called to the grounds of Huntsham Court Farm in Ross-on-Wye just before 13:00 GMT.

A spokesman said the sheep became stranded after the River Wye burst its banks. A tractor and trailer were used to carry them to safety. None was injured.

In a separate incident earlier in the day, crews rescued six sheep from the River Lugg in Hereford using a boat.
