Man, 19. killed in Evesham lorry collision

The fatal crash happened between the Twyford and Badsey roundabouts, for the A44 and B4035

A 19-year-old man has been killed in a crash involving an articulated lorry.

A Vauxhall Corsa collided with the lorry between the Twyford and Badsey roundabouts on the A46 in Evesham at about 16:00 GMT on Saturday.

The man, thought to be the driver, was pronounced dead at the scene and his next of kin were informed, West Mercia Police said.

Part of the A46 was closed overnight after the crash but reopened earlier. The force has appealed for witnesses.
