Man charged over Redditch nightclub gun incident

A man has been charged after reports of violence outside a nightclub in Redditch at the weekend.
West Mercia Police said officers were called to The Warwick Bar and Nightclub Ipsley Street at about 05:00 GMT on Saturday.
Clinton Bryan, of Barlich Way, Redditch, is charged with possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life.
The 41-year-old appeared at Kidderminster Magistrates' Court earlier and was remanded in custody.
He next due to appear at Worcester Crown Court on 3 January.
Mr Bryan has also been charged with possession of an offensive weapon in a private place and possession and cultivation of cannabis, with the alleged offences unrelated to the incident on Saturday, police said.
West Mercia Police forced the nightclub to close over the weekend.
