A man has been arrested over the theft of supplies from a 12-year-old boy's food bank store.

CCTV at Isaac's Worcestershire home captured a person wearing a panda costume taking items from his family's garden shed in Redditch, on 2 October.

Isaac, who has set up several food banks in the town, said he was devastated by the theft.

West Mercia Police said a 38-year-old man was detained on suspicion of burglary and theft and is in custody.

Isaac, who has a rare chromosome disorder, started the first food bank from his driveway during lockdown in 2020, but after seeing the amount of people in need, he organised three more points to store donated food.

His mother Claire-Louise Chapman said he had sent out about 4,000 food parcels this year.
