Christmas shoppers will be able to park for free on specific dates

Free Christmas parking will return to Herefordshire on specific dates in December.

People will be able to park for free at council-owned public car parks and on-street pay-and-display bays for festive events.

It does not apply to any private car parks unless stated.

There will be free parking information signs displayed and people are urged to check local restrictions.

The events and dates the free parking applies to are:

  • Kington Winter Food and Drink Festival - 2 December and 23 December

  • Ledbury Christmas Shopping Event - 2 December

  • Leominster Victorian Fair - 9 December

  • Ross-on-Wye Christmas shopping - 2 December

  • Hereford late night shopping - after 16:00 GMT on 6, 13 and 20 December

The scheme is funded by Herefordshire Council in partnership with the town councils and Hereford City BID.
