Worcester men jailed after auction house jewellery burglary

Two burglars who broke into an auction house and took £40,000 of jewellery have been jailed for three years.

Diamond rings, necklaces, bracelets, watches and rare coins were stolen from Merebrook Industrial Estate in Malvern on 5 July.

Nicholas Dutfield, 52, from Happyland West, Worcester, and Alan Dale, 51, of Belmont Street, admitted charges of burglary with intent to steal.

They were sentenced at Worcester Crown Court on Thursday.
