Elderly woman seriously hurt being struck by van in Worcester

An elderly woman suffered serious injuries when she was hit by a van.
She was injured at the junction of Barbourne Lane and the A38 in St Stephen, Worcester, at about 15:37 GMT on Tuesday.
She suffered serious injuries and was treated at the scene before being taken to Worcester Royal Hospital for further treatment, West Mercia Police said.
A spokesperson for the force said no arrests had been made.
