A charity that delivers life-saving skills will be celebrating its 5,000th defibrillator and CPR trainee.
To mark the occasion, Heartstart Malvern will be heading to Dyson Perrins School to also train 150 pupils.
Launched in 2017, the group aimed to increase cardiac arrests survival rates in the Worcestershire town and surrounding areas.
The milestone is being marked on Wednesday.
So far the group has fundraised more than £50,000 to install 33 public access defibrillators and plans to install a further 17 before its 10th anniversary in 2027.
Heartstart Malvern's patron, Lucy Chenevix-Trench, said: "Although we have achieved so much since our launch in 2017, the survival rate from an out of hospital cardiac arrest is still less than 10% in Worcestershire and we still have a long way to go."
