East Riding by-elections: Conservatives hold two seats

Two council seats vacated by the new Humberside police and crime commissioner and his deputy have been retained by the Conservatives.
Matthew Grove was elected as the police commissioner in November and his deputy, Paul Robinson, gave up his council role in January.
The by-elections were held in the Mid Holderness and Howdenshire wards of East Riding of Yorkshire Council.
The Conservatives won both wards with the UK Independence Party in second.
