Hearings held over North Sea wind farm plan
- Published
Public hearings have started into plans to build a 600-turbine wind farm at Dogger Bank, 77 miles (125km) off the East Yorkshire coast.
The proposal by Forewind has been accepted for examination by the government.
The Planning Inspectorate is now asking for comments from the public before reporting back to the energy secretary.
A decision on whether to approve the development is expected by February 2015.
People wishing to attend the meetings, which are being held in Hull, need to register first with the Planning Inspectorate. , external
