Holy Trinity Church is set to undergo a £4.5m transformation to become an events venue and tourist attraction
A church in Hull has revealed its £4.5m plans to transform itself into an events venue in time for the city becoming UK City of Culture 2017.
Holy Trinity Church is set to have its interior restored and remodelled to create a "flexible" space with a cafe.
The churchyard and Trinity Square will be be combined to form a public space, or piazza.
Holy Trinity is a Grade I listed building and dates back more than 700 years.
