A man has been charged with murder after a man died following an altercation in Hull.

Richard Pepper, 25, was found with serious injuries in Egton Street at about 01:00 BST on Monday.

Daniel Terrence Flatley, 25, of Constable Street, Hull, is due to appear at Hull and Holderness Magistrates Court on Wednesday.

A 32-year-old woman arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender remains in police custody.

Officers said a man and woman, both aged 57, arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender had been bailed until July.
