More than 1,000 runners have taken part in the Hull marathon.

The 26.2 mile route began at Wilberforce Drive before taking competitors out towards the Humber Bridge and back into the city centre.

A number of road closures were put in place while the race, which was first held in 2012, took place between 09:00 BST and 15:00.

The Red Arrows conducted a flyover for the race route at about 10.40 above Boothferry Road.
