Charles Bronson: Ex-prison officer recalls moment he saved a hostage

Roy Kirk is one of Charles Bronson's former prison officers and, for the first time, has spoken about his experiences of his time with the notorious inmate when he was assigned to look after him for almost a decade.

Bronson has been in jail for nearly 50 years and a Parole Board is deciding whether he should remain imprisoned.

Mr Kirk was the armed robber's prison officer at HMP Hull until an injury during a siege in 1994 ended his career.

He spoke exclusively to the BBC's Pritti Mistry.
