A stretch of the M62 in East Yorkshire has reopened after being closed for several hours when a lorry crashed through the central reservation.

The motorway was shut between junction 35 for the M18 and junction 34 at Whitley following the collision on Tuesday morning.

National Highways said lane three remained closed in both directions while barrier repairs were carried out.

Drivers were warned to expect delays through the evening rush, it added.
