The event will be held at The Guildhall in Hull.
A "fabulous and formal" fundraising event will return to Hull for the first time in four years, the Lord Mayor has said.
The Rainbow Valentine's Ball will raise money for Pride in Hull and the Lord Mayor's Charity Appeal Fund.
Hull's Lord Mayor, councillor Kalvin Neal said he was looking forward to the "wonderful event".
"We welcome everyone to dress fabulously and formal, but more importantly as themselves.
"It's the first time we've been able to put on the Ball for four years, so we're looking forward to having a really good turn out."
This year funds raised through the event will benefit Hull4Heroes and Dove House Hospice, who are being supported by the Lord Mayor's Charity Appeal Fund.
The entertainment will include a drag show and a musical theatre performance from Hull's State of the Arts Academy.
It will be held at The Guildhall on 16 February at 19:30 GMT.
