Boy, 14, held after spate of burglaries in Hull

A 14-year-old boy has been arrested in connection with a spate of burglaries in Hull.

Humberside Police said the teenager was arrested on suspicion of five counts of burglary and four counts of attempted burglary.

It comes after the force received multiple reports of burglaries in the Sutton Park and Bransholme areas between 21 and 29 January.

The boy remains in custody for questioning, a spokesperson added.
