Man arrested after protest on East Riding county hall roof

The man has been arrested on suspicion of public order offences, Humberside Police said
A 55-year-old man has been arrested after protesting on the roof of an East Riding of Yorkshire Council building.
Police were called to County Hall in Beverley after receiving reports the man had climbed up onto a ledge at about 08:00 BST on Wednesday.
The man unfurled a banner which said: "East Riding Yorkshire Council where disabled kids don't matter."
Humberside Police said he was detained on suspicion of public order offences.
A passer-by told the Local Democracy Reporting Service there were about five police vehicles and multiple officers at the scene.
The protest came ahead of East Riding of Yorkshire Council's full meeting on Wednesday afternoon.
Children Portfolio Holder councillor Victoria Aitken said: "Helping children and young people achieve is a key priority for the council and supporting our most vulnerable including children and young people with special educational needs is at the heart of our ambition."
