Crime crackdown in Kent nets 66 arrests

Sixty-six people have been arrested in Kent following a targeted two-day operation, co-ordinated by the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate.

Thirty-two people were arrested on Wednesday with a further 34 people held in raids on Thursday.

Police said they were questioned over a series of crimes which included vehicle and metal theft, handling stolen goods, and the supply of drugs.

Kent Police said 12 people had so far been charged.

In total 104 people were arrested across Kent and Essex.
