Jamie Frater missing from Blantyre House open prison

A prisoner is missing after failing to return to an open prison after working in the community, Kent Police said.

Jamie Frater, a detainee at Blantyre House in Goudhurst, was last seen at a charity shop in Headcorn at 10:00 BST on Monday.

The 38-year-old has links to the Dorset and Hampshire areas and Kent Police is working with officers in those areas in the search for him.

Police urged anyone who knows of his whereabouts to contact them.

Officers have also advised people not to approach Frater.
