Operation Stack on M20 due to Channel Tunnel disruption

There has been a high volume of freight traffic
Lorry drivers have been told to queue on the M20 following disruption at the Channel Tunnel.
Operation Stack has closed the M20 coastbound carriageway between junctions 7 and 13.
Kent County Council said there had also been a high volume of freight traffic looking to use the Channel ports.
The Port of Dover remains open with P&O operating a full service to Calais and DFDS Seaways operating a full service to Dunkirk.
Kent Police said lorry drivers who use the diversions for non-freight traffic in an attempt to get closer to the front, and who do not have a ticket, will be sent to the back of the queue.
