Marden family heartbroken over stolen dog

How do you tell your two-year-old that the family dog has been stolen? That's the dilemma these parents are facing.

Richard Latter and Amanda Hopkins from Marden, Kent, say they've had to turn into detectives to try and find their nine-month-old puppy, because police can't do any more for them until more evidence emerges.

Kent Police said it officers were investigating the crime from the Pattenden Lane area, and is appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
