Canterbury: Pedestrian seriously injured in collision with lorry

Kent Police are appealing for information after a man in his 80s sustained serious injuries in a crash near Canterbury

Officers are appealing for witnesses after a pedestrian was seriously injured in a collision in Kent.

On Friday, at about 12:20 GMT emergency services attended the collision which involved a white Scania Tipper lorry at the junction of Sturry Hill and Island Road, Sturry, near Canterbury.

A man in his 80s was taken to a London hospital where he remains in a critical condition.

Police have urged any witnesses to come forward.
