A woman arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to conceal the birth of a child in Lancashire has been released with no further action.

Susan Percival, 66, was arrested with her husband Reverend James Percival, 65, of Holy Trinity Church in Freckleton, and daughter Ruth, 28.

It followed reports of a woman giving birth to a stillborn baby boy in Freckleton on 25 November.

The vicar and his daughter were arrested on suspicion of murder.

They were re-bailed until July.

A Lancashire Police spokesman said: "A 65-year-old man and 28-year-old woman from Freckleton arrested on suspicion of murder and conspiracy to conceal the birth of a child have been re-bailed until July.

"A 66-year-old woman from Freckleton arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to conceal the birth of a child has been released no further action."
