Polling stations across Lancashire have closed in the county council election.

The poll will see 84 county councillors elected to cover 12 districts in Lancashire.

Votes will be counted on Friday morning and results are expected to be announced in the afternoon.

The county council provides local government services across the region, including education, health, social care, libraries, waste disposal and transport.
