Lancaster rape: Man arrested after attack near park

A man has been arrested after a woman was raped near a park.
The woman, in her 20s, was assaulted near Ryelands Park in Morecambe Road, Lancaster, at about 05:15 GMT on Thursday, Lancashire Police said.
The force said an 18-year-old man from Lancaster had been arrested on suspicion of rape.
Det Con Insp Lee Wilson said the woman was being supported by specialist officers and "increased police patrols" were in the area "as a precaution".
