Revival of rare booming bitterns in Lancashire
Booming bitterns are making a comeback in Lancashire.
The rare birds rely on a habitat of reed beds, which are currently in decline in the UK.
Ecologists at RSPB Leighton Moss are celebrating a revival after spending several years building a suitable environment for them.
