A £10,000 reward has been offered for information that leads to the arrest of a suspect that police want to speak to in connection with a man's murder.

Matthew Daulby, from Liverpool, was stabbed to death near Railway Road in Ormskirk on 29 July 2023.

The 19-year-old's parents said he was "a vibrant, loving and funny teenager" with "a huge zest for life".

Crimestoppers said Lancashire Police want to speak to Thomas Dures, 19, who has links to Aughton and Liverpool.

The crime reporting charity said the public should not approach Mr Dures if they see him and should report the sighting anonymously through its website.

Regional manager Gary Murray said Mr Daulby "lost his life in tragic circumstances and it's vital that Thomas Dures is found to face questioning".

Two men - Finley Cook, 20, of Ormskirk and Henry Houghton, 18, of Scarisbrick - have previously been charged with murdering Mr Daulby.

Lancashire Police said 10 other Merseyside men, eight 19-year-olds and two aged 18, had been charged with conspiracy to commit violent disorder.

They have all been remanded in custody ahead of a trial in November.
