Police have seized more than £3m worth of cannabis after stopping a car at a motorway services.
Officers stopped a white BMW on the M6 in Forton near Lancaster on Sunday, Lancashire Police said.
They noticed a "strong smell of cannabis" and found vacuum-packed parcels in laundry bags and a suitcase.
A 34-year-old man from Scotland has been charged with possession with intent to supply cannabis and is due before magistrates in Preston later.
Ch Insp Patrick Worden said it was "potentially one of the largest drug seizures in Lancashire over recent years".
"I am pleased that these drugs have been taken off our streets, and we can continue to protect some of the most vulnerable members of our society by doing so," he added.
