A woman has been seriously injured in a motorway crash in Lancashire after a car lost control while overtaking a lorry.
The Peugeot 208 hit a barrier along the M65 on the eastbound carriageway between junctions 2 and 3 near Preston at about 19:00 GMT on Wednesday.
It then collided with several other vehicles, Lancashire Police said.
The woman, aged in her 30s, who was a passenger, suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital.
The driver, a man in his 40s, and a child suffered less serious injuries. Nobody else was hurt.
