Murder charge after Colne man dies of stab wounds

A man has been charged with murder after a man died of multiple stab wounds, police said.
Richard Chamberlain, 34, was found with several injuries at a property in New Market Street, Colne, on Sunday, according to Lancashire Police.
He died a short time later, the force added.
Frank Wrona, 44, of New Market Street, Colne, has been remanded into custody to appear before Blackburn magistrates on Wednesday accused of his murder.
Police said a post-mortem examination established the cause of Mr Chamberlain's death was multiple stab wounds.
Detectives said they were continuing to appeal for witnesses or anyone with information which could assist the investigation.
