More than 140 homes in West Yorkshire were left without power after a suspected metal theft.
The fire service was called at about 08:00 BST to Church Road in Liversedge after reports of a house fire.
It materialised that copper cabling had been stolen from a nearby substation, which led to power being cut off at 141 properties.
A West Yorkshire Police spokeswoman said two men had been arrested on suspicion of metal theft.
Electricity company YEDL said supplies were expected to be restored by 16:00 BST.
