Soldiers from 3rd Battalion Yorkshire Regiment have paraded through Huddersfield as part of their homecoming.

Around 170 soldiers from the Corunna Company returned from Afghanistan to their Wiltshire barracks in September.

Troops, including a 30-strong band, have marched through the town.

The parade was followed by a private service at the parish church to remember four Huddersfield soldiers who died in the conflict.

Cpl Jake Hartley, 20, of New Mill; Pte Anton Frampton, 20, of Longwood, and Pte Daniel Wilford, 21, of Cowlersley, died in Afghanistan in March.

Pte Thomas Wroe, 18, of Meltham, was killed in September.
