Whitby demolition of five landslip-hit houses starts

Demolition has started of five houses in North Yorkshire, where a landslip has made them structurally unsafe.

The "brick by brick" demolition of five houses in a row of terraced houses on Aelfleda Terrace in Whitby, could take some considerable time.

The houses have been left hanging over a sheer drop following the landslip on Tuesday.
